Best Summer Ever By Heidi Swain

‘Best Summer Ever’ is the new book by Heidi Swain.

Summer is in full swing when Daisy drives back into Wynmouth in her almost-clapped-out car, having left both her most recent job and the man her parents thought she was going to marry. Coming home could be just what she needs to move her life on. At Wynbrook Manor, things are in disarray. Owner Algy isn’t getting any younger, and Daisy’s mum Janet, housekeeper at the manor, spends her days running around after him, while Daisy’s dad Robin, the gardener, has been let down by the person he had lined up to take care of the new cut-flower garden.
vAs Daisy tries to find her place at Wynbrook and in the village, she’s drawn to summer visitor Josh. But when he turns out to be not the person he appears to be, will the spark between them fizzle out? And with it, the chances of this turning into the best summer ever?

Settle yourself down for escapism at its best with the latest romantic tale from Heidi Swain, packed with determined protagonists, handsome men and blooming gardens, that made this book impossible to put down.

Daisy is a delightful character who is hoping to turn her life around when she returns home much to the bemusement of her parents, who regard her as a flighty character who doesn’t stick to jobs and relationships but she’s determined to prove them wrong with her own love of gardening. But the truth is Daisy found her boyfriend cheating and because her parents thought he was the best thing that happened to her, she’s letting them believe that she gave up on the relationship. As Daisy, is such a good person and would rather her parents believe that she is the bad guy and not smug and irritating Laurence. But in true Heidi fashion, she’s written a story with a handsome and charismatic leading male who will help Daisy find her path in life as well as his own. American Josh has also travelled to Wynmouth with his own mission to look into the history of the small village particularly Wynmouth Manor, a glorious stately home owned by the wonderful Algy, a character who added some eccentricity to this story.

‘Best Summer Ever’ is Heidi’s 20th book and to mark this momentous milestone, I was delighted and privileged to be quoted in the finished copy of the book.

Beautifully written with vivid and glorious descriptions of the seaside village, the gardens and the fantastic characters, this book is packed with sunshine, new beginnings, hope and sweet treats, Heidi has delivered another romantic story that is perfect to escape to this summer!
