“Never Have I Ever” follows on, where “The Lying Game” left off. Emma has successfully stepped into her dead twin sister’s shoes, to find out who killed Sutton.

As Emma takes on the role like a duck to water, fitting in with her friends, and a loving family, all unaware that Sutton is actually dead. Emma must find out who killed Sutton, but she has a new problem, as the killer is now watching her every move.

As Emma delves deeper into the mystery of Sutton’s disappearance, she is oblivious to Sutton being along with her, trying to help her along the way. But as she investigates more, she begins to realise that that there are a lot more suspects than she had initially suspected and that Sutton and her friends played a lot of games – games that ruined people’s lives. So it seems that anyone could want revenge on Sutton, anyone could want her dead.

Like “The Lying Game” I enjoyed “Never Have I Ever” but I am still seeing so many similarities to the “Pretty Little Liars” series, that it keeps distracting me from the story. Having said I am still enjoying the series following the bitchy teenagers, try to outdo each other whilst graving acceptance from their peers. “Never Have I Ever” is a great follow up from the “The Lying Game” as both sisters try to find Sutton’s killer and Emma settles into a life that she never dreamed off living.
