If I Stay tells the story of Mia, who on a day out with her parents and her younger brother Teddy, is involved in a car accident tragically killing them all but leaving Mia in a coma. Whilst in the coma, Mia watches events unfold before her as relatives and friends visit her wishing her to get better.

Its through this, that Mia has to decide whether she will die and join the rest of her family or to come back and try to continue on with her life. While she decides this, her narrative reflects on her life with her rocker boyfriend Adam and a life without her fun loving parents and annoying brother.

A beautifully written story, that is a true tear jerker as Mia battles to make the right decision and decide what is best for her.

If I Stay is such a remarkable and unique story that there has been rumours about it now being made into a feature length film, which would definately make for interesting viewing.
