Blue Moon by Alyson Noél
Blue Moon, is the follow up to the popular Evermore. After Ever found Damon and discovered that they were both immortals. In Blue Moon, Ever is dealing with her new immortality and new powers when new-comer Roman enters their lives. She is immediately suspicious of him with his arrogance as he struts around the high school as if he owns the place, with everyone following in his wake, Ever senses that not all is right with him.
So when Ever arranges to spend the night with Damon and he doesn’t turns up, she immediately fears the worst and visits Summerland, the land for immortals. Whilst in Summerland, she finds out things she never knew and Damon finally reappears, he is not the same person and completely ignores her and their relationship. Meanwhile Roman, is in the background causing chaos, turning the school against her, whilst she tries to people that he is not who he says he is.
I really liked Evermore, but found Blue Moon was not as entralling, this may have been because there was an notable absence of Damon, as he is such a strong character. Having said this, I will continue to read the other novels in the series, as I enjoy Alyson Noél’s style of writing.
