Home For Christmas By Heidi Swain

‘Home For Christmas’ is the latest book by Heidi Swain.

Bella is living her best life in Wynbridge, with her beloved Spaniel, Tink. She’s found a way to keep the house she inherited from her grandparents while expanding her dream business – Away With the Fairies – and she’s ecstatic that Christmas is on the horizon!

In fact, everything is perfect until family friend, Catherine Connelly asks Bella if she’d be willing to rent part of the house to freelance author, Jude who is researching the history of the Connelly Clan and Wynthorpe Hall ahead of turning his findings into a book. The plan had been for Jude to stay at the hall, but he can’t cope with the chaos and Bella reluctantly agrees to open her door to him.

Initially, the pair clash but then friendlier feelings begin to grow and Bella finds herself wondering if Jude could become more than just another guest before it’s time for him to leave. That is, until he announces he has no time for Christmas!

With her favourite time of the year suddenly in jeopardy, will Bella ever feel like she’s home for Christmas?

We might just be ready for Halloween but there’s never a better time to curl up with the latest festive story from Heidi.

Prepare yourself to immersed in festive charm, cheer and warmth as we join Bella and new lodger Jude on the countdown to Christmas.
Bella is used to her own company, with busy fairy making business and her little dog called Tink, she enjoys the peace and quiet. Until handsome writer Jude comes along and she lets him stay with her whilst he works on a book about the village aristrocats, the Connolly’s,
The pair are worllds apart, Bella loves Christmas and Jude hates it whilst Jude likes the miminal look whilst it’s more, the better for Bella.

But in this case opposites do attract and it’s lovely to join the pair as they fall for each other and Jude falls back in love with the special season.

As usual Heidi has delivered another story that is filled with heart, hope and wrapped up with the Christmas spirit. I love the story, it flow at a lovely pace with relatable and likable characters and plenty of adorable canine friends. It was also lovely to return to Wynbrige and see some of the characters from her previous books and see how their lives had turned out. Bella is a great character and an aspirational one at thought, having followed her dreams and created her own successful fairy business, a love that stemmed from her childhood.

Make yourself a hot chocolate, grab some biscuits and snuggle up with ‘Home For Christmas’ as it’s one of the cosiest stories I’ve read in a while, an absolute Christmas cracker of a story!
