Love Is On The Air by Jane Moore

Love Is On The Air is the latest book by bestselling author Jane Moore and tells the story of Cam, who’s life is in a rut. Working in a small hairdressers, giving elderly women blue rinses, she lives with Dean, her boyfriend of six years. Even though they live together, they lead separate lives, Dean lazes around the house watching football while she reads her books in beds. Cam is bored with her life and needs to make changes. The only thing that is remotely exciting about her, is her unusual name Cam short for Camomile.

So when a holiday is suggested with her two best friends Saira and Ella, she jumps at the chance to run from her problems and fly away to sunny Tenerife for a change of pace. Its out there that she meets handsome stranger Tom, who makes her feel happier and alive, thinking that its only the new surroundings that are making her feel different, she returns home hoping to ignite that lost spark between her and Dean.

But when she gets home, she discovers that it wasn’t the sun and sangria that made her take a shine to Tom, and that infact things with Dean are not how they used to be.

Then suddenly out of the blue, whilst making the breakfast, she hears an announcment on the radio, from a Tom who wants to get in contact with the Cam whilst on holiday in Tenerife. Unfortunately the announcement couldn’t be said at a worser time, as Dean is sitting beside her and heard the whole thing.

Distraught at the notion of his girlfriend being with another man, she manages to convince him that nothing happened and that Tom is actually a stalker and so they muddle on with Dean oblivious to Cam’s cold feet.

But when Dean proposes to Cam at his sister’s wedding, everyone is delighted for them. Everything should fall into place now as Cam finally has the commitment she has longed for, but she can’t seem to shake the nagging feeling and her thoughts keep returning to Tenerife and the handsome man she met.

Love Is On The Air is another great book from Jane Moore that had me laughing at so many bizarre situations and characters. I would thoroughly recommend this book, to everyone who enjoys a happy ever after tale of finding the One.
