Afternoon Tea With Milly Johnson

The lovely people at Simon and Schuster organised another fabulous event this year with afternoon tea at the glamourous Grosvenor House Hotel for the members of Team Milly. We all met in the reception of the hotel and fortunately with having the Team Milly Facebook page, we got to know each other in advance and that made the meet up a lot less daunting! Once we were all seated and greeted by Milly Johnson and Emma Hay from Simon and Schuster, the attentive waiting staff catered to our every need, bringing us glasses of Proescco, endless sandwiches, cakes, pastries and the most succulent scones smothered in strawberry jam and cream.

Stuffed after all the food, most of us had to bring fancy doggy bags of cakes home with us, I was lucky with it being my uncles birthday, I passed my cake made from cinnamon, pecan and banana onto him. As well as being treated to some fabulous food and company, we also enjoyed the sideshow as cyclists rode down Park Lane to celebrate National Cycling Naked Day, there were bums and breasts everywhere!
