A Very Accidental Love Story By Claudia Carroll
“A Very Accidental Love Story” is the ninth book by bestselling Irish author, Claudia Carroll.
Eloise Elliott is the youngest newspaper editor in Ireland, but on the eve of her thirtieth birthday she is hit with a sudden pang of loneliness. Suddenly she realises that she wants someone to spend her life with.
Fast forward three years and she is the adoring mother of the beautiful Lily. Struggling with her high powered job and single motherhood, life can sometimes be a bit complicated especially when Lily starts to ask about her daddy.
Eloise begins to panic and wonder what she should tell the curious little girl. So Eloise deciders to go on a mission to find Lily’s father, after all she chose the perfect donor, so there shouldn’t be any surprises or should there?
“A Very Accidental Love Story” is a heart warming and witty tale that was often a struggle for me to put down. With a delicious cast of unlikely heroes and heroines and an adorable two year old, there was someone to suit everyone.
I have read a few of Claudia Carroll’s book and for the first time she has written a dual narrative, which gives the story an interesting twist as we are able to see the thoughts of both Jake and Eloise as they deal with the sudden changes in their lives.
“A Very Accidental Love Story” is a wonderfully written love story with a twist and will hook you from the very first page. Packed with energy and humour and a beautifully illustrated cover, it’s no wonder this book is currently at the top of the Irish book charts.
