Return To Half Moon Farm By Holly Hepburn

‘Return To Half Moon Farm’ is the latest book by Holly Hepburn.

When Daisy’s mother falls ill she is forced to return home. With her twin sons in tow, she moves back to Half Moon Farm, her family’s ancient hop farm. But a new life in the Kent countryside isn’t necessarily as idyllic as it might seem. Daisy’s relationship with her mother is complicated and the tumbledown farm isn’t the only thing that needs rebuilding. Daisy and her sons must adjust to life with estranged family, a leaking roof, and no WiFi. Luckily for Daisy, she might yet find some distraction in silver fox farmer, Drew, or in the haughty heir to the nearby estate, Kit, who she can’t seem to avoid.

This latest book is a heartwarming story that was lovely to curl up with, packed with history, romance and new beginnings, this book was captivating from the first page.

The story is seen through the perspective of Daisy, who’s upped sticks with her twin boys Campbell and Finn to return to her childhood home to help her mother who’s recovering from heart surgery. It’s during this time home that she makes some new discoveries about her family as well as some love letters that lead her on a mysterious quest. As she settles into her new life, she catches the attention of the handsome Earl Kit and handyman Drew, both men are opposites but she’s drawn to both for different reasons.

‘Return To Half Moon Farm’ is lighthearted story that was easy to sink into and get absorbed in, the characters were a lively mix, particularly Finn and Campbell, a boisterous sporty boy and a studious, serious boy. The addition of the mysterious love letters, add an element of intrigue to the story and I loved this part.

Set in a beautiful location of a quaint town and a sprawling castle, ‘Return To Half Moon Farm’ is a charming escapism story packed with charm, mystery and hope.
