Ciara Geraghty’s new book “Lifesaving for Beginners”
Irish author Ciara Gergarty is back with her fourth book “Lifesaving for Beginners” With such a great plot, I am already looking forward to this literary treat.
The story is
Kat Kerrigan is a woman with secrets, and that’s how she likes it. She writes bestselling thrillers under a male name and keeps her real identity tightly under wraps. Despite her best efforts, she’s somehow fallen in love with her ‘man’-friend Thomas. But she can’t even tell him her most deeply-buried secret: when she was fifteen, Kat had a baby, and gave her up for adoption. Ever since then, she’s found it difficult to let anyone get too close. Faith is twenty-five and lives in Brighton. She doesn’t think there are any secrets in her life. But after her mother dies in a car crash, Faith discovers that she was adopted. Along with her young brother, Faith sets off to Dublin to meet her birth mother – Kat Kerrigan. But is Kat ready for all her secrets to be revealed?
I have been a fan of Ciara’s ever since she wrote “Saving Grace”, packed with a lovely blend of humour and drama, her books have always provided an entertaining read.
With a wonderfully vibrant cover of a child holding a bunch of coloured balloons, the book cover look quite serious and different to her previous visual offerings, but will look divine nestled on your bookshelves.

I like both the cover and the sound of the book. I also enjoyed “Saving Grace” a lot and I’m excited for Geragthy’s new book.
I do love this cover, it’s very vibrant. Have you read “Finding Mr Flood”? It’s also by Ciara and is another lovely story. Thank you for your comment.
