Katy Regan’s Writers Tips

Writing! Practice, all the time. A good tip, which I use myself, is buy yourself some random postcards with pictures of people on or a photography book full of portraits (like the Schweppes Photography Prize book). If you’re stuck for something to write about, choose a picture of a person from the book and write a story about them, creating a world for them based on what they look like and how you imagine their life to be. It’s kind of what I do when I people watch too, but just in my head.
