Whereas her cousin Billie, is a hard working scientist in Sydney, like Camille, she had a sudden death in her life when her father committed suicide and she has a lot of unanswered questions.
The two cousins arrive in London and both are complete opposites, hardworking on their own ways, both women bring something different to the enterprise, hoping to bring the company to power. Billie, has the scientific touch hoping to create a new product whilst Camille has great marketing ideas and plans and hope with their combined skills the company will excel. The story is seen mostly through the eyes of Camille and Celeste, but there are also chapters seen from perspective of their grandmother Daphne and these chapters make for incredibly insightful and interesting reading.
