The Man Who Disappeared is about Kate Kendall who travels to Canada to work on her Art thesis whilst her husband, Felix travels to Hamburg on business when returning home she is intercepted by the police informing her that her husband is a wanted man who has disappeared on suspicion of money laundering. Then Kate’s world falls apart, the life of luxury she had become accustomed to is ripped away from her and her kids. Suddenly she is living on a council estate, scrabbling to get by whilst people think that she is involved with Felix’s plan, unknown to them, she knows nothing about Felix’s plan and begins to wonder if the life she has been leading has all been a lie.

Within the story it is taken from the perspectives of Kate, Felix and two of their children, Rory and Millie as they all embark on new life journey’s and struggle to adapt to the sudden change.

A good book based on whether love can conquer all and can you really forgive a person and accept what they have done, no matter how much they have hurt you.
