Kate’s Wedding by Chrissie Manby

Kate's Wedding book cover

Kate’s Wedding is the delicious new novel from best-selling author Chrissie Manby and tells the story of two very different women preparing for their weddings on the run-up to the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Kate is a 39 year old woman, who was beginning to suspect that she was never going to get married after having her heart broken one too many times. But after meeting safe, reliable Ian who proposes to her on top of the Eiffel Tower, she begins to wonder if her life, is now going to work out for her and that she is not going to die an lonely old spinster. When she returns home from Paris, her dreams for a quiet wedding is suddenly taken out of her control, as she deals with mother’s cancer scare and wanting to make everyone happy especially her ill mother.

Diana, was born on the day of the Royal wedding and has always been treated like a Princess and was convinced that she too, like Diana would meet her prince. So, when Ben proposes to her and loaded with her father’s credit card, she is determined that she will have the best wedding day ever and will not let anyone or anything stand in her way.

I loved this book. The characters in it are so entertaining especially Diana who is terribly bitchy and bossy to her fiancé Ben, who obeys her every need out of fear for his own life! I would definately recomend this book to everyone who enjoys a good wedding, especially a royal one!
