Nominations For The 2013 Romantic Novelists’ Association Awards

The Romantic Novelists’ Association Awards nominees were revealed this week, and I must say that there are some wonderful books up for the awards. The books that particularly caught my attention were Mhairi McFarlane’s, debut book “You Had Me At Hello” which is up for The Contemporary Romantic Novel award, I loved this book and it my favourite debut book of 2012.

Rowan Coleman’s courageous book “Dearest Rose” is amongst the nominees for The Epic Romantic Novel and two of my favourite authors Jenny Colgan and Belinda Jones are both nominated for The Romantic Comedy Novel awards with their sweet books “Welcome to Rosie Hopkin’s Sweetshop of Dreams”and “Winter Wonderland”.

Exciting news for fans of Jenny’s book, as she also revealed that she finishing the sequel!

And finally Sarra Manning is up for “The Young Adult Romantic Novel” with her book “Adorkable”

Good luck to all the nominees, the winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on 26th February. Each category winner will receive an elegant crystal trophy as a mark of their success. They then go forward to contest the RNA’s most coveted award, the Romantic Novel of the Year (RoNA), which will be announced on 16th May.
